The CS Show | Computer Science Live YouTube Streamed Show

The CS Show is a 2020 O/A levels lecture cum discussion based streamed live show on the YouTube from Karachi, Pakistan. It was launched in April 2020 during the COVID-19 lock down to help O/A levels students with the toughest subject topics. It is hosted by a variety of computer science teachers and mainly run by Zafar Ali Khan, a Pakistani computer science teacher from Karachi, Pakistan. The CS Show is a series of YouTube program shows covering mainly O/IGCSE/AS/A2 Level syllabuses for P2 and P4 and sometimes P1 and P3. What can COVID-19 teach us?

Superiority complex, especially where few think that they are better because they make more money and have more work capacity than others, needs to end. We should know what living below the poverty line is like and that small scale or minimum wage work is not an indication of a person’s value, intelligence, work ethic, or character. Honest work is honest work. Never look down on anyone for the job they have. Every person is important and their contribution in any capacity to society matters. Paramedics, watchmen, drivers, food panda delivery persons, grocery store workers, dairy shop owners and workers, maids, garbage collectors, backers and labours etc. are the ones taking us through this corona-virus crisis. They are making it sure we have the necessities to survive on and even risking their health. I hope COVID-19 will teach us not to judge people based on their status, title and earnings.

ECONOMIC, SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL IMPACT OF CORONAVIRUS ON TEACHERS

Before hotels, restaurants, public transport, borders, gatherings, processions, mosques, churches, marriages and cinemas were asked to observe lock down by government, all schools and tuition centres were closed down on one day notice. State's education system weaknesses gave birth to private schools and that catered for a big number of households, women got a profession to support their families, specialisation acquired, standards were raised, money poured in and many many people opted in for full time teaching in private education sector. Then the coronavirus changed everything. 29th February 2020, was a nightmare for teachers as tuitions disappeared suddenly and schools closed down. Teachers are hit big time without any notice. Now few schools have already notified for stoppage of future salaries, a big percentage of parents have stopped paying specially at tuition centres and if they have paid then planning to stop paying any further. Its a 360 degree threat to teache...
